And as a direct consequence, since I knew what I was up against, I thought I’d just try to outsmart them, and get Cathy and Kelly into some form of qualified help. I certainly had the money to do it, and I thought I had the connections. But unfortunately, there was so little known about helping people, and the physicians around the United States and Canada that were doing public research developing a treatment modality for what they call “polyfragmented”--it was called Multiple Personality Disorder back in those days, which couldn’t be further from the truth. I’m glad they changed the name. But nevertheless, I couldn’t find anybody. The first person that did contact me was Dr. Jolyn West out of UCLA. And of course he’s dead now. Hopefully I’ll have his records soon. They normally release them a couple of years after they’re dead, under the FOIA. But I was contacted by Dr. West’s office because I had put an inquiry out, and apparently one of my inquiries hit the wrong button, and I wound up getting the bad guys all over me.
